The little girl πŸ‘§πŸ» tried to settle down for the night πŸ› but she couldn’t sleep 😡

Before dropping them off, the little prince 🀴🏻 had picked up a dog leash from the palace, so the little girl had clipped one end to the collar on the little dog 🐢 and had tied the other end around the leg of her chaise lounge πŸ›‹οΈ so that this uninvited guest in her home would hopefully stay in one place. Upon seeing the chaise the little dog was so excited 🀩 he immediately jumped on it, made himself comfortable between the cushions and promptly fell into a deep slumber 🐢 😴 This creature must have been exhausted, thought the little girl. As exhausted as I am after a night of fun πŸ₯‚πŸΎ and dancing πŸ’ƒπŸ»

But the little girl couldn’t sleep 😡 she left her bedroom door open and kept a vigil. If the little dog made the slightest sound she jumped up 😯 and went to check that the little dog hadn’t left her a steaming gift πŸ’© anywhere or a yellow puddle to clean up πŸŒ• πŸ™ˆ β€œI am NOT πŸ™…πŸ»β€β™€οΈ cleaning up anything coming out of this thing. Eew 🀒 disgusting,” she said to herself.

Eventually, she could keep her eyes open no more and she too went off to the land of nod 😴 But barely had she slept an hour, in the early hours of the morning, just as the sun was rising 🌞 the little dog 🐢 as fresh as a daisy 🌼 now after his nap, had given himself a good wake up shake πŸ€ͺ

The clinking sound of the collar and leash reached all the way to the sleeping little girl’s ears. She opened one eye πŸ‘ then the other πŸ‘€ and smiled 😊 She’d been dreaming of the wonderful ball she’d just attended. The little girl yawned and stretched πŸ™†πŸ»β€β™€οΈ then her eyes flew wide open all of a sudden 😲 she’d remembered the little dog. β€œOh, f… fiddle, fiddle, fiddlesticks!” 😯 She threw off her bedsheets and rushed to the room, sniffing the air and looking for evidence that her chaise or floors hadn’t been defaced. Thankfully they were just as she had left them, so she quickly threw on her gown πŸ‘˜slippers πŸ₯Ώ a hat πŸ‘’ and some eye shades πŸ•ΆοΈ hoping nobody would recognise her 😎 and made her way all the way down πŸ‘‡πŸΌdown πŸ‘‡πŸΌ down πŸ‘‡πŸΌ to the grounds with the little dog to make sure he went poopoo peepee πŸ’© πŸŒ• outside.

But did he go poopoo peepee? πŸ’© πŸŒ• Oh no, that’s right, he did not.

β€œCome now little fellow, do your thing,” the little girl tried to cajole the little dog between nursing her headache πŸ₯‚ πŸ€• yawning 😴 and fixing her bedhead. But the little dog 🐢 made the little girl walk around and around πŸ•πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ the castle 🏰 many, many, many times. He sniffed around all the wheels of the carriages πŸš— he sniffed around all the gardens 🌿🌷 but did he go poopoo peepee? πŸ’© πŸŒ• Oh no, that’s right, he did not.

The little girl thought perhaps the little dog might be hungry 🍡 So, she brought him up all the way up πŸ‘†πŸΌ up πŸ‘†πŸΌ up πŸ‘†πŸΌ to the tower again. The little girl was used to dining at fairs πŸŽͺ and her kitchen cupboards were almost bare, so she gave him a bowl of milk πŸ₯› and bread 🍞 for that was all she had. The little dog lapped up the milk but didn’t touch the bread. Then he sat upright and expectant, wagging his tail πŸ’“ and smiling at the little girl 🐢 πŸ˜‹

Okay, little creature, so you’re kinda cute, but now what? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ she thought. Now that he’s drunk some milk πŸ₯› he’ll surely need to go peepee πŸŒ• So down they went. All the way down πŸ‘‡πŸΌ down πŸ‘‡πŸΌ down πŸ‘‡πŸΌto the grounds again and all around and around πŸ•πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈthe castle 🏰 again.

But did he go poopoo peepee? πŸ’© πŸŒ• Oh no, that’s right, he did not.

Oh heavens, now what?! πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ thought the little girl desperately in need of sleep 😴 If I take him up and I try and sleep again, he shall certainly do his business πŸ’© πŸŒ• in my beautiful tower 🏰 πŸ™ˆ

Then she had an idea. She must ask the little prince 🀴🏻 what to do. So the little girl sent a carrier pigeon πŸ•ŠοΈ πŸ“² with a message πŸ“ƒ to the prince and waited. But no reply came. There were still many hoursΒ  to go before they could go back to the place they had found the dog and look πŸ‘€ for his owners πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ The sun β˜€ had barely risen in the sky and the little prince was deep in the land of nod 🀴🏻😴 So she took the little dog 🐢 back, up πŸ‘†πŸΌ up πŸ‘†πŸΌ up πŸ‘†πŸΌ all the way up to the tower again and waited some more.

Even though she felt like she had just crawled out of hell and all she wanted to do was curl up in her cosy bed and sleep, she was out of options. So the little girl decided to get dressed and take the dog out. At least if they were out there wouldn’t be any accidents πŸ’© πŸŒ• in her beautiful home.

She tied the little dog to the chaise, begged it not to go poopoo peepee πŸ’© πŸŒ• while she was in the shower 🚿 then shut the bathroom door πŸšͺ

But… Upon seeing the little girl disappear the little dog became very, very sad πŸ’” 🐢 πŸ₯Ί He cried and tried to tap his little paws at the bathroom door. The little girl took the fastest shower 🚿 of her life and rushed out of the bathroom.

And this was the moment 🌟 that everything changed forever 🌟 As she opened the door, the little girl πŸ‘§πŸ» was met with the most glorious, the most wondrous, the most magnificent sight 🀩 πŸ’« she had ever seen in her whole, entire life!
