Once upon a time ๐ซ in a far away land called the Unicorn Kingdom ๐ฆ there was a little girl ๐ง๐ป who loved animals ๐ฐ ๐ well, except that she didnโt๐๐ผ
Since as far back as she could remember, she didnโt like them at all. In fact, she was terribly frightened indeed ๐ฑ of the dog ๐ who lived on the neighbouring farm. Whenever the dog would bark, it made the little girlโs heart jump ๐ฏ and her knobbly knees wobble ๐ฅบ Whenever the little girl saw any dog walking by the way ๐พ ๐ ๐ปโโ๏ธ she crossed over the street as quickly as she could ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ so she wouldnโt have to be near it.
The little girl didnโt understand why people liked being around animals ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธโ She knew she liked to eat them though ๐ because her daddy ๐ด๐ผ gave her bites of chicken ๐๐ from his plate ๐ฝ when they went out to village fairs ๐ช and visited other peopleโs cottages in the land ๐๏ธ
The little girlโs mummy ๐ฉ๐ผโ๐ฆณ however, already loved animals ๐ She never ever ate them and she never allowed them to be eaten at home. You see, she knew a ๐special secret ๐ about animals ๐ฑ๐ซ that the little girl ๐ง๐ป and her daddy ๐ด๐ผ didnโt know yet. It wasnโt the right time ๐ฐ๏ธ for them.
When the little girl got a bit bigger ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ she would visit the big fairs of Londinuim ๐ช with her friends, and they would eat animals together, lots of them, all kinds: ๐ญ pigs ๐ฅ goats ๐ baby lambs, cows ๐ฅฉ even snails ๐ frogs legs ๐ธ and all kinds of birds ๐ and ๐ฆ sea creatures ๐ค๐ฃ The little girl thought they were so delicious, so yummy in her tummy. So the little girl did love animals, I suppose. Yes, she loved to eat them ๐คญ
She would dress up in her best dresses ๐ and meet her friends in the most famous fairs in the whole wide world ๐ places with Dish-ellin Stars ๐๐๐ on the walls, where Queens ๐ and Emperors โ๏ธ dined, and where oh so very important patrons ๐ง paid handsomely, sometimes hundreds of gold sovereigns ๐ฐ to meet the best animals, served dead โ ๏ธ on their plates, of course.
Then came the time when the little girl had to travel far, far away, across the seas โต and skies ๐ซ to the mystical land of Bollyhood ๐บ๐ป๐๐ป ๐ฅ to earn some gold sovereigns ๐ฐ for herself. In this mystical land of Bollyhood, she saw that all her new friends ๐ฌ๐ซ๐ป๐ญ loved animals ๐ ๐ย Yes, they loved to eat them too ๐ฝ๏ธ! The little girl was a little taken aback ๐ฒ that they ate animals here because she thought the ancient books ๐ of this land said that this land was holy ๐ and that they didnโt eat animals here๐ ๐ซ But, oh well, they did, and so, she did too ๐ฅฃ
The little girl ate many more animals until one night, until the night of her birthday ๐๐ and the time had finally come ๐ฐ๏ธ for her to know the ๐special secret๐ about animals ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ท๐ This was the night something changed in her forever ๐
Now, because the little girl was far, far away from the UK ๐ฆ in this new, mystical, land, and although lots of people wanted to be her friend ๐ญ๐ซ๐ป and go out and eat animals with her, or dance๐๐ป at parties ๐ and have fun ๐พ๐ฅ the little girl was feeling lonely inside ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ Something was missing.
She knew that she had everything. She had a lovely home at the top of a tall, castle tower ๐ฐ that reached all the way up to the sky โ She had so many friends ๐ซ๐ป๐ญ and gold sovereigns ๐ฐ she couldnโt even count them, and her face was known in many places throughout the land of Bollyhood ๐๐ป๐ฅ and in other Queendoms ๐ and Empires โ๏ธ around because she sometimes magically appeared on a screen ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐บ in front of people when they pressed the enchanted button that brought her to life.
But still, the little girl knew something was missing. She was missing the ๐ special secret ๐ She just didnโt know it yet.
The night ๐ of her birthday ๐ was drawing to a close. A handsome, little Bollyhood prince ๐คด๐ป had taken her out dancing ๐๐ป๐บ๐ป at a grand ball ๐. He was dropping her home, when all of a sudden, the prince halted the carriage ๐ in the middle of the thoroughfare. He alighted and called to the little girl, โLook ๐ little girl, thereโs something there!โ
Lo and behold, in the middle of the night ๐ in the empty boulevard, hiding underneath another carriage ๐ and peering out with frightened, round, liquid eyes ๐ฅบ was a little dog with a golden, soft, shiny coat, and big floppy ears ๐ถ
Such a pup was strange for these parts, for, it wore a collar and looked well kept, much unlike the wild hounds ๐ that roamed freely in the land. The little prince looked worried ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ for the poor little thing had no defence if its fate met with one of those hounds that night.
So, he opened the carriage door ๐ and the little dog lit up ๐ถ๐ก๐ Unable to contain his excitement at being rescued, he wagged his little tail ๐ opened his little mouth wide in smiles ๐๐ and bounded all around inside the carriage with his tongue lolling from side to side ๐คช in sheer joy. He was clearly used to traveling in carriages and not meant to be on the streets at all.
The little prince ๐คด๐ป and the little girl ๐ง๐ป looked around to see where the little dog ๐ถ could have come from ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ but there were no homes in sight ๐๏ธ๐๐ผ Only empty frames of big, tall, castle towers that had not been entirely built yet ๐๏ธ stood in this part of the land, among lots of rubble and building material ๐งฑ
โYou shall have to take him for the night, my dear ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ We shall return in the morrow and lay search for the owners of this fine beast ๐ถ then,โ said the little prince.
โWhat? ๐ฒ Oh, hell no bro! ๐ ๐ปโโ๏ธโ exclaimed the little girl. โOh fiddlesticks! ๐ โ she quickly corrected herself. โErr, I meanโฆ But, my dear, kind gentleman, I know not of the care of these creatures. Perhaps he can be hosted at the palace tonight? The gentleman has dogs ๐๐ the gentleman, unlike I, is informed of what to do.โ
โMy dear little girl, the palace dogs are guard dogs and might not be so welcoming ๐ ๐ They may try to harm this poor, innocent chappie ๐ถ ๐โ
So the little girl found herselfย in her tower in the sky ๐ง๐ป ๐ฐย all alone with the little dog ๐ถ The little prince ๐คด๐ป had dropped them off and had bid them both a goodnight ๐๐ป As heโd departed heโd patted her on the shoulder and wished her a โHappy Birthday,โ once more, followed by a telling smile and, โyouโll be alrightโฆ broโฆ ๐โ
๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
The little girl sighed at the little dog looking up at her now with his huge, puppy dog eyes ๐ถ ๐ and thought, oh heavens! Now what on Earth is one to do with this creature. This thing had better not go peepee on my furniture.
